4th OF JULY BRICKTOWN CANAL FEST

JULY 1 – 5, 2026

Don’t miss the Inaugural 4th of July Bricktown Boat Parade on July 1, 2026 at 10 a.m. Boats will cruise through the Bricktown Canal in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

Following the parade, visitors can enjoy a full week of activities throughout Bricktown. From July 1-5, the OKC Comets will host home games each evening at 7:05 p.m., with spectacular fireworks shows scheduled for July 3 and July 4.

The festivities continue on July 4 with the All American Bash, featuring live entertainment from the Oklahoma Opry. The event is free and open to all ages, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m.

Beyond the scheduled events, visitors can explore everything Bricktown has to offer, including dining, shopping, attractions, and entertainment for all ages. Families can enjoy mini golf, arcade games, laser tag, bowling, shopping, museums and other attractions while experiencing one of Oklahoma City’s premier destinations. Many Bricktown restaurants and businesses will offer half off kids meals and other specials after the parade!

The canal itself holds a special place in Oklahoma City’s history. A key component of the city’s MAPS initiative championed by former Mayors Ron Norick and Kirk Humphreys and Bricktown leader and developer Jim Brewer, the Bricktown Canal officially opened on July 2, 1999.

Event organizers encourage residents and visitors alike to make Bricktown their Independence Day destination and take part in what is expected to become a new Oklahoma City tradition.
